During each year you will need to do over eight thousand working hours that have been done on the job, actually training. That is a minimum of two thousand working hours each year. Including those eight thousand hours that you will need to work, you will also need to have at least 144 hours of classes that you need to attend in order to get all the theory knowledge that is required to become an electrician.
While this might seem a lot of hours, you need to be able to prepare for the volatile working situation you are going to be putting yourself into on a day to day basis.
