Course Description: What makes this Quality Management course unique?
A particularly important aspect of this course is the inclusion of financial aspects of management. This is an area about which many managers are apprehensive even though organisational survival depends on measuring and recording revenue generation and/or cost control. You will develop specific skills in using financial data including measuring quality as a cost which will help you to operate efficiently and economically in a management role. In addition, you will recognise the importance of technology and Total Quality Management to organisations.
As a result of this course, you should be in a strong position to make an effective contribution to the future development and progress of their organisations as the work involved in this course should give those relevant skills and ideas which could yield benefits in their place of work.

This qualification will help you to progress to further quality and management qualifications such as PDA in Quality, HNC in Management and Leadership and Diploma in Management and Leadership.
The Managing Resources and Quality qualification is jointly certificated by SQA and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) at SCQF Level 7 (equivalent to HNC Level). Once you are registered on this qualification you will be eligible for 12 months free studying membership of CMI. This will allow you access to a range of management information, tools and support materials.
