Courses Open To You After

Following on from your City & Guilds Bricklaying qualification it is important that you look to the future and consider achieving an NVQ at level 2. This will require you to be working within the Bricklaying industry in order to build a portfolio of evidence which can be assessed to determine your progress and support you in achieving an NVQ.

If you are looking to undertake ‘site’ based bricklaying work in the future, it is important that you have a CSCS card, without it, you will not be able to access sites. The aim of the test is to examine knowledge across a wide range of health and safety topics in order to improve safety and productivity on site. If you are looking to hold an Experienced Worker or Skilled Worker card, you will need to be registered for an NVQ – You can do this with Able Skills by undertaking an additional 2 weeks of bricklaying training. Able Skills will register you for an NVQ free of charge when you feel ready to take this next step.
