This qualification aims to develop you knowledge and skills of the care of patients approaching the end of life, as well as how to support friends and families at this sensitive time. This course contains six units which cover how to work in end of life care, care planning in end of life care, how to provide support to manage pain and discomfort, end of life care and dementia, understanding the role of the care worker in time of death and understanding loss and grief in end of life care.
Upon completion of our end of life level 2 course, you could progress on to study our Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care.
