PSYCHOLOGY – LEVEL 3 COURSE

The Psychology – Level 3 Course is designed for people who wish to gain a good understanding of Psychology.

Psychology is an academic and applied discipline involving the scientific study of mental processes and behaviour. Psychologists study such phenomena as perception, cognition, emotion, personality, behaviour, and interpersonal relationships.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive an accredited Level 3 Certificate Award.

The Child Psychology Distance Learning Course is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of Child Psychology and the development of children.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive an accredited Level 3 Certificate Award.

Objectives:

1. At the end of the home study courses students will develop:
2. An awareness of psychological approaches to the understanding of child development
3. A recognition of the application of developmental psychology to certain aspects of child care and education
4. An awareness of different methodological approaches to psychological investigation
5. A range of skills in using psychological methods.

Course Duration:

Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies. The home study courses will take approximately 200 hours of study to complete.
