I am surprised that you even ask such a question, in this day and age as everything is so heavily regulated and licensed, you need licence to operate even small piece of equipment and you wondering if one needs a special licence to drive 10 -15 ton lorry 60 miles down the road. Besides these great tips mentioned above I would like to add something with all simplicity. Lorry driving is so much risky. The driving conditions during the day or during the night, the tiredness or the conflicts may lead to smoking and drinking excessively. So one has to be careful from the beginning not to get into vices easily. Job is lucretive or promising with high scale earning but it also throws you into risk against which you need to have precaution
