    Default Athletes And Substance Use

I remember the sad story of Marion Jones having to be stripped of all those medals she had won(well I guess she surrendered them herself)and how she suddenly became a shadow of her star.

Do you think her personal trainer is to blame for not helping her avoid all that befell her thereafter?

Well, I think Yes. If someone is caught in doping crime, to a huge extent its the trainer's fault. If they guided the person well about doping related matter, athlete would never have moved this wrong way.

An athlete is well aware that he is using banned substances. They cannot escape charges by putting blame on others. WADA spends a lot of money every year to spread awareness about banned drugs.

Athletes who are guilty of using substances should always be stripped off their medals.

Every time an athlete is using substances, he/she is cheating.
