Self-Taught Make-Up Artist?

What happens when you are a self-taught make-up artist who can prove your have talent in the industry but you have no background in beauty for school? Is there a place you can go in person or online to actually get a physical degree for make-up arts?

You can set up an online portfolio. You can showcase before and after shots on different women as well as show how to do make-up via Youtube on videos.
I am not sure you can get certified for something like this online. Most make-up artists aren't certified, they just have a natural talent.

A lot of women on YouTube do make-up and this shows how good they are. It is pretty hard to do artistic level make-up on yourself but it helps to showcase you doing it on other people.

I agree about establishing an online presence. In today's world, you can land work and become popular by applying your talents on an online canvas if you will.
Just be sure not to stress yourself out over it. Be committed but remain sound and happy. A lot of people who pursue things without a paper saying they have a background in it become easily discouraged and stressed.
