Default Reducing Hours - Wages Impact?

I presently work 33.5 hrs each week and also I'm considering asking if I could decrease those hrs to 28 hrs weekly.
I presently make money ₤ 9.21 each hr approx which relates to ₤ 13,887.39 annually inning accordance with my payslip. I pay 5.8 %LGPS pension plan after that tax obligation as well as NI which places my takehome pay at ₤ 993.15 each month.
I am battling to determine just how a 5.5 hr weekly decrease will certainly influence my takehome pay. Can any individual aid please?
    Thanks.

It depends on your bills and what you need outside of those. That works out to being about 50 pounds less a week. If this is something you feel you can be without, then go for it but that is 200 pounds a month.

As Robert mentioned, that is 200 you will be out a month. Some people can do without that easily but most need to adjust their budget for it. Map out what you spend and go from there.
