    I am really not sure on this. I guess it depends on your approach. Most people with ideas will draw them by hand. This makes it easier to change things and go back and add something in without juggling a bunch of documents and pictures on your computer.

    You want to take an idea and make a mock-up of it and pitch this idea to game devs who work on board games.

    Yes, getting in touch with manufacturers with your ideas is key. You have to make sure you have something to show them as well, not just drawing on paper.
