    Thumbs up PE Teaching

An ambition of mine is to become a PE teacher so I can help and inspire children. Obesity is a huge problem and I feel I can make a difference. I have a degree in business and sport management. I did this 3 year ordinary degree course in Ireland and I am unsure if it is recognised in the UK. I currently live in scotland and I am currently researching the whole area of PGCE/PG Cert in PE teaching.

    Any advice?

Hi, I read your post and I don't think that degrees in Ireland are valid in the UK, but im not 100% sure. You can go at this website Avoiding bogus degrees : Directgov - Education and learning.

And also check the list of Recognised Bodies and see if it is valid or if you have to take another one and another site you might want to check out is Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Primary) (PGCE) PgCert - The University of Northampton
it has all the requirements and information you need. Best of luck to you.
