The Interior Design – Level 3 Course is designed for students who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of Interior Design, and plan to establish an interior design small business. No prior knowledge is required.
Interior Design is a practice concerned with anything that is found inside a building’s space – walls, windows, doors, finishes, textures, light, furnishings and furniture. All of these elements are used by interior designers to develop a functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing space.
On successful completion of this course, students will receive an accredited Level 3 Certificate of Achievement.

Unit Five – Making a Living from Interior Design. The following topics are covered:
- Have you got what it takes to be an Interior Designer?
- Setting up a small business (Business plan, Tax, VAT, Insurance, Health & safety).
Unit Six – Tools of the Trade
- The home study courses also include a CD ROM which contains colour versions of all the pictures and graphics used in the course materials.
