This Level 3 Diploma in Diet and Nutrition has been created and written to give students a clear and detailed foundation understanding of the topic.

You will look at topics such as, why is food and water important and why do we need to eat and drink, should we all just eat what we like when we like? How is the food processed in our bodies, are all foods the same and equally important, does a baby need the same food as a teenager or an adult?

Diet and nutrition will be defined and better understood. Healthy eating with regular exercise is key. While studying, you will look at understanding how we process food, how we get fat, build muscles and have enough energy to run our body so that we can walk, talk, pump our heart, breathe, blink our eyes, maintain our body and grow – basically to stay alive.
